Ever had a McGangBang?

“Have you ever had a McGangBang?” was the question I got from my brother over dinner one evening.  Before I could respond my parents chimed in with, “We tried it and didn’t know it was going to be as good as it was.” I almost spit out the bite of pasta that I had just put in my mouth. I sat waiting for an explanation, fearful of what I might find if I looked it up on Urbandictionary.

I thank my brother for giving me something to write about for this post. If you don’t know what a McGangBang is, by now you are likely making the same twisted and puzzled face  that I was when I first heard the term (hopefully not spitting out food, especially not pasta god forbid).  Good news. Turns out it is delicious and it starts at McDonalds.

I left work yesterday with McGangBang stuck in my head, so I had to go for it.  I stopped at McDonalds and patiently waited for my order to be filled. A pregnant woman who ordered before me went on a rant. “This is RUDICALUS! I come here er day and wait 20 min for my god damn food to come out.” I didn’t know McD’s contained the proper nutrition for her unborn child, but then again, who am I.

My order is ready and we are back on topic. The McGangBang is the cheapest most filling fast food sandwich at McDonalds. Put a McChicken between a double cheese burger and you suddenly get something awesome.  In case I hadn’t piled enough calories on I went one step further and threw fries on it “a la Rutgers Fat Sandwich” (which I will likely have to write about soon). It is not pretty to look at by any means, but then again there is no food that is pretty to look at in McD’s. After one bite the only words I could find were, “This is RUDICALUS!”

Now I will likely have to work out for 3 hours a day for the next three days to work that off, but it was definitely worth it.  It may not sound appetizing to some, but rest assured that next time you are at McD’s, coming back home from a night of drinking, or find yourself with an insatiable appetite and only a couple of bucks to try to beat the hunger… you will be thinking about having yourself a McGangBang.

(Note to those who are ready to go try one.  Do not ask them for a McGangBang when you order as you may get some interesting reactions.  Order a double cheese burger and a mcchicken and then put it together.)
